After last years planned second birthday festivities were rudely interrupted by covid lockdowns, we were all looking forward to celebrating the third birthday of this nutty little business, which had doubled in size since that locked-down second birthday. (Yes we were as shocked as anyone to grow so much over a pandemic!)
Of course, the third birthday had to be interrupted a couple of times by mini covid lockdowns, but we managed to find a weekend where we weren’t all stuck at home in our 5km radius’ and booked a fancy high tea at Mary Eats Cake in Montrose to mark the occasion. Because we all definitely needed lots of cake and champagne to get ourselves out of that lockdown funk!
We got a bit silly with the party decorations, just because why not truly celebrate being able to get together after so long, donning party hats and popping party poppers! But the highlight of the day was absolutely the warm scones, which we highly recommend you run to get!
Happy third birthday Whipped Up, I can’t believe we made it another year.
